Ford Motor Company introduced its “Deluxe Ford Line” in 1938, as stylish upscale alternatives between base models (referred to as Standards) and two luxury Lincoln production vehicles. By the following year, Ford production included and offered five particular car versions: Standard Fords, Deluxe Sedan Fords, Mercury, and its Lincoln and Lincoln-Zephyr models. Also from 1939 to 1940, in association with Murray Corporation of America for Ford, deluxe 4-door “woody” station wagon models appeared as well, exceeding more than 11,000 of those vehicles sold. By the end of 1940, Ford models imposingly accounted for nearly 70% of Ford’s 541,900 production numbers.

Exteriorly: All four doors operate electrical windows with perfectly fitted light-gray tinted glass, without wing windows (similar to 1939 Ford standard model). Electric windshield wipers.
