1963 Austin Healey 3000 MKIIA
£49,999.00 | €60,042.25 | $63,200.49

Originally built 25-26th March 1963, this Austin Healey 3000 MKIIA (BJ7) represents one of the most desirable Healey models as the first of the wind-up window cars. Finished in its attractive and original colour scheme of Colorado Red on Black interior trim. From the factory the car was optioned with: wire wheels, overdrive, heater, adjustable steering column, laminated windscreen and roadstead tyres.

ANH 114A was restored by Austin Healey specialists JME from the ground up in 1994 and has covered just 20,000 miles since. Restoration totalled around £45,000 in 1994 which is the equivalent to circa £115,000 today. The car has very nice body fit and tight panel gaps but does have some age related paint defects although general paint finish and depth is still very good with a nice even lustre.

Inside this MkII Healey is in very good shape with just minimal wear to the seats and clean, well manufactured upholstery throughout – demonstrating far greater levels of fit than the aftermarket interior kits available today. The hood is of the correct everflex material and also has very good fitment.

Mechanically this Healey is ready to go with the engine, gearbox and axle having been fully refreshed JME Healeys at the time of rebuild. The engine can be seen fully stripped down and machined with new pistons fitted in our website gallery photos. The car is now just 20,000 miles since restoration nicely bedded in and further extras have been added in the form of a custom specialist built, single rear exit exhaust which not only sounds fantastic but significantly reduces cockpit heat owing to relocation of the exhaust silencer.

Supplied with British Motor Heritage Certificate of Authenticity, photographic and paper documentation of restoration (detailing all stages), service history, MOT history, hood bag, spare wheel, hammer and jack.
