Kawasaki GPX 750R, true to the expression "straight out of the box", registered in 1988 and with 60,000 km, 33 years old and still retains all its splendor.
Around the mid-80s it was the starting gun in the disputed segment of the "seven and a half", where the Kawasaki GPX 750 R, would be one of the first actors to appear to, among other things, try to give the reply to motorcycles as iconic as the Honda VFR 750 F (RC24).
So, with this perspective, the Kobe technicians created a new four-cylinder in-line engine, liquid cooling and double camshaft with 16 valves in the cylinder head. It was capable of developing a power of 106 hp at 10,500 RPM and a maximum torque of 77.8 Nm at 8,500 RPM, reaching a final top speed of 238 km / h according to official data.
In this new engine, Kawasaki sought greater smoothness and ease of use in order to compete in this aspect with Honda, but without forgetting that kick so characteristic of its motorcycles in the upper part of the tachometer, where it placed its cut-off line at 11,500 RPM.
