The BMW E36 M3 debuted in February 1992 and was the first M3 powered by a straight six engine, originally a 3.0 litre, producing 282bhp. Initially available as a coupe only, BMW introduced the M3 convertible and saloon versions in 1994. In 1995, the M3 coupe and saloon were upgraded to the 316bhp, 3.2 litre engines and known as Evolution versions. At the same time, the cars received clear indicator lenses, new wheels and a six-speed gearbox. The E36 M3 chassis was touted as one of the best handling cars of the 90's in independent tests and known for its well-balanced handling.

Registered new on 3rd April 1998 this rare manual example was delivered new in blue coachwork over an Ivory interior and has been part of a private collection in recent years. The BMW presents very well, the paintwork is very good showing few blemishes and the interior and engine bay are in good order throughout. The convertible hood and hard top are both in very good order commensurate to the rest of the car. Offered with a sizeable history file including the original BMW books, maintenance booklets, various old Mot records, many sundry bills, and the current UK registration document. This wonderful looking M3 evolution convertible is a rare manual example and is ready to be enjoyed immediately by its new owner. Consigned by Daniel Godin
