Just two former keepers

Nine seat configuration

The Land Rover Defender was launched in 1948 and, incredibly, production only finished in January 2016 after a continuous run of 67 years. Outwardly, there is little to distinguish the post-1983 vehicles from the Series III Land Rover. A full-length bonnet, revised grille, plus the fitting of wheel arch extensions to cover wider-track axles are the most noticeable changes. Internally, coil springs offered a more comfortable ride and a permanent four-wheel drive system derived from the Range Rover featuring a two-speed transfer gearbox with a lockable centre differential. A modernised interior and a new series of progressively more powerful and modern engine characterised things under the skin.

First registered 31st October 2000 this 110 County TD5 boasts just two former owners from new. Presented in green with contrast roof with the original cloth trim our vendor informs us he has spent over £20,000 on upgrades and maintenance work since he purchased in 2021. A nine seat configuration with tow bar and dog guard. Offered with a MoT certificate until March 2025 our vendor states he would happily sell this to a friend such is his love for the 110. Practicality and country style in abundance, this is a car for all needs and having covered mealy 61,000 miles it has barely been run in for a Land Rover Defender. Consigned by Mathew Priddy
