The 750 SS was built around the turn of the year 1975/76. The engine and frame number match this period. The icon was designed by Fabio Taglioni. The 750 SS is a further development of the racing machines that were successful in Imola in 1972. Paul Smart and Bruno Spaggiari emerged as the winners. Since then, the Ducati 750 SS has been one of the best Italian motorbikes of the 1970s and, from todays perspective, the model is a style icon for road motorbikes. In the period from 1973 to 1977, 3 series totalling 1,020 motorbikes were produced and according to Giorgio Sarti, the third series begins with chassis number 075683, which he puts at 340 units. We can present our 750 SS in a very good technical and optical condition, as the Ducati has been completely restored.
