Suzuki has pushed ahead with the development of the cardan shaft for the German market. The development costs are said to have totalled DEM 2 million. The GS 850 G was the first Suzuki with cardan drive to be launched on the market in 1978. The quality of the development work was undisputed, because the result was a Suzuki with cardan drive that worked excellently. Our GS 1000 G dates back to 1981 and still has the reputation of being a reliable, well-constructed motorbike. Our GS 1000 G has a very good original condition.
