âBlu Ollandeseâ is most probably the prettiest colour for a 105 series Alfa Romeo, especially when it also has that delicious 2000 engine with twin Weber Carburettors. This car was first allowed on the road in America in 1974. The car has been fully restored to the highest standard. The unblemished bodywork looks fantastic. The nice and thin panelwork is correctly aligned The perfectly applied âBlu Ollandeseâ paintwork is simply brilliant. The brightwork too is in very good condition. It has perfectly complimentary black carpet and tan vinyl upholstery. During its restoration the 2000 GTV was re-upholstered and has remained pristine. The customary wooden steering wheel and long gearstick are also present. Ergonomically speaking this Alfa Romeo is unusually un-Italian in that it is good. You immediately find the right driving position when you sit down. It is therefore no surprise the 2000 GTV has remained a firm favourite classic. It delivers great entertainment when being driven sportively as well being perfectly able to transport you in all comfort over longer distances. The neat condition of the dashboard deserves a mention, with all gauges, controls and switches working as they should. The 2.0 litre 4-cylinder engine with double overhead cams delivers 132 Ps at 5,500 revs attached to its manual 5-speed gearbox. The engine has no trouble at all propelling this 1,028 kg light Italian coupe. This car sporting its iconic turbine rims is ready to go. It comes with a copy of the original Alfa Romeo owners manual.
