Price on request

In 2017, the introduction of the Nissan DPI marked a turning point in the history of Ligier and symbolised the first OEM’s car build by Ligier for IMSA competitions. The Nissan DPI is powered by the 3.8-litre V6 twin turbo engine from the GT-R Nismo GT3. Ligier Automotive and Nissan worked together to adapt the bodywork of the Ligier JS P217 to look as close as possible to the Nissan GT-R road car whilst still maintaining the aerodynamic performance and efficiency of the LMP2 JS P217. The Nissan DPI therefore, is based upon the Ligier JS P217 and benefits from all the data and experience gathered by the previous Ligier Automotive sport-prototypes on different tracks around the world.

Ligier Automotive partnered with Nissan Nismo to create an IMSA Daytona Prototype international (DPi) car, which is a standard ACO/FIA homologated 2017 LMP2 Prototype chassis fitted with IMSA-homologated, manufacturer-designed and branded bodywork and engines.

The Nissan DPI was produced from November 2016 to March 2017 for ESM Tequila Patron competing in IMSA. This partnership with Nissan Nismo led to numerous successes, winning Road America and Petit Le Mans in 2017 along with Sebring 12H in 2018 in the IMSA Weathertech series with ESM Tequila Patron.
