This car was produced in only 4 examples by Zagato and upon request of FIAT, in order to offer a more sporty and aerodynamic version of the 1400 sedan. The most distinctive feature of this car was the wraparound side windows made of lightweight material (like perspex), which provided great interior brightness and 360-degree visibility. The car was equipped with a 1395 cc engine, capable of delivering 70 horsepower, thanks to Abarth tuning, and that could reach a top speed of 140 km/h, aided by the aluminum bodywork. The FIAT 1400 ZAGATO PANORAMICA is considered one of the rarest and most sought-after vehicles among vintage car enthusiasts.
